Britney Spears accepted her long-time beau and former agent Jason Trawick’s marriage proposal this week. She shows off her 3-carat engagement ring alongside fiance Jason Trawick at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Friday (December 16) in Las Vegas.

3-carat round stone … diamond-paved band … not too shabby for the world’s favorite 30-year-old pop legend. The ring was designed by celebrity jeweller Neil Lane, and shows off a perfect, round white diamond in a handmade platinum setting. There’s also 90 smaller diamonds within the eternity band.

Jewellery expert Michael O’Connor discussed the Neil Lane design with Us Weekly, as he said: “I heard that Jason didn’t want a giant stone since he wanted to concentrate on the quality and beauty of a platinum setting. Looks like Britney Spears got an engagement ring that will surely give her several platinum records a run for their money!
